Tucker at Car Show Next Weekend 8/13?

Postby ehartman13 » Sun Aug 07, 2005 11:43 pm

I was talking to my nephew this weekend and he told me his Dad was going to a car show around St. Joe Michigan this coming weekend and to show his 64½ Mustang. But the really interesting thing he told me was that there was to be a TUCKER there.
Has anyone else heard about this or does anyone have any information on what number the car it might be (since there are a few in Michigan)?
Thanks, Eric

Car Show in St. Joe

Postby roberttk » Thu Aug 11, 2005 9:49 pm

I am almost positive it is Tucker 1047, my parents live in St Joseph. It should be the one from the Gilmore Car Museum.

Hope this helps,

Thank for the info Robert Kauffman, it was that car. Nice to see it again out in the crowd where people could get up close and touch it. After awhile someone opened the engine compartment (not the Gilmore Rep) but it was left open and more people came around it all the time. I was there from 10 am till it was "loaded" onto the trailer for the trip back. I could tell you many stories as to what people said was this or was that about the car (all wrong, gee I did not know that was the only one left LOL). But it was fun talking to them and I think a few might be signing up with the TUCKER club. (Amazing how many people had never heard of the car, seen the car, or even seen the movie!!)
